Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. Summer is refreshing but always busy, with this year as no exception. The weather here in Charlotte started to turn right as the official season began, and the chillier mornings and evenings have me thinking of the weeks to come. I had a great summer, but I don't feel like I fit in everything I wanted to. To make certain I don't miss anything this season, I made a personal list of things I plan to do this fall.
- Go pumpkin-patching (just like last year)
- Find a local county fair
- Bake something pumpkin for e and something salted caramel for me
- Decorate our yard for Trick-or-Treaters!! (I'm most excited about this one)
- Go hiking so often I can see the leaves change colors
- Brave orange lipstick (recommendations welcome)
- Eat massive amounts of candy corn
- Sleep with the windows open (a rare treat for us Southerners)
- Get up to the mountains (the best getaway there is)
